Hi , I am planning a trip to Universal & Sea World and I have reservations for a studio suite @ The Enclave Suites off International Drive in Orlando. Any information will be helpful.

We just got back from a five night stay at the Enclave Suites. We found the grounds and the location great, but were extremely disappointed in the accommadations. The furnishings were old, worn and dirty and the 1 BR suite was very small. The kitchen appliances were not in good working order, making it difficult to cook. I was told that i could request a renovated room. Has anyone tried that?

johnst...I asked the girl at checkout, if any of the rooms had been renovated. She said that they had done a couple "for show only", but that the major room renos had not yet been started. We had to move to another suite the first day, due to a major safety issue that we encountered, in our assigned suite. We looked through 5 other suites before we found one that was acceptable. All those other suites were in equally poor shape and certainly no renos were evident in Building #1. I would ask in advance about how to get a renovated suite, if available. We had no complaints other than the condition of the suites. The location was great and the grounds and pool areas were very nice. The complementary "breakfast on the go" was satifactory, although I hadn't been expecting to be passed a "box". But it did contain fruit, orange juice and a piece of banana bread. Certainly adequate to get your day started.
