Would it be totally unfashionable to wear this at the resort pool?

That's so cute and stylish. I'd try it at home first if you can, but even if you can't go under the water, it's better than having to sit on the side. :)

I say go for it. Personally I think it's really cute! But, as others have said...if people stare, no worries. What are the chances of ever seeing any of them again!?!
As a matter of fact, I think I might look into ordering one for myself and my daughter. We both have very curly, frizzy hair - mine is much kinkier than hers, but we both spend a lot of time each day getting our hair straight. My daughter has mandatory swimming classes at her high school and they don't allow time to dry hair, so she was just asking me the other day if this type of product is sold. She wanted something "different", not a traditional swim cap. She's going to be so excited when I show her your link.

I agree with hcoker1! I think it's cute, but even if I didn't it should have any effect on you. Your on vacation to have a good time, who cares what others think, you won't see them again. I always just tell myself that anyone who scoufs(?) at me they are just jealous:rotfl: Enjoy the pool!!!

I love it! Be prepared for people to come up to you and ask you where you got it, 'cause I would! :thumbsup2

Once at a pool at the All Star Sports resort, I saw a lay with a beach towel that had pictures of different sexual positions on it, with cartoon figures in the positions. That was inappropriate. A cute swim cap is not.

I think its cute & would wear it. My hair is terrible in the humidity in FL & after its wet, you don't even want to see what it looks like!!! I love the flowers on it & think I might be ordering one for myself! :cool1:

That's just wrong.

I think it seems to be unanimous. It's a very cute swimming cap. Actually that site has lots of cute caps. If I saw you or somebody else wearing a cap like that I would say "Oh that is such a cute cap"!

Wear it I say and wear it knowing that many around you will be jealous of your cute cap wishing they had one ;)

I love the swim caps. They're very retro and a great idea. I bet you'll see a couple other swim caps while staying at the resorts.

Wear it and own it. I guarantee you that you will have 5 women complimenting you/asking you where you bought it. I LOVE it!

It's a really cute idea! And if it allows you to have fun with your family, it's absolutely worth it.

Totally giggling at the wash and go hair...DH is Asian and keeps his hair short (or rather, I keep his hair short), and it looks pretty much the same wet as it does dry!

Another inappropriate thing...in '07 DH bought a swimsuit from JCPenney. Arizona brand, I believe. We realized much later on that it was called something like "surfer girl" print. Well, it looked like a plain color. But when it got wet, a hidden design came out; a "pinup" girl silhouette.

You would NOT believe the trouble we went to getting those exchanged, while on our trip and en route to Disneyland! We found out about the hidden print at a Marriott pool at my HS reunion...so so so glad we didn't find out while at Paradise Pier Hotel's pool! The JCP reps REFUSED to believe us until we explained it a million times; we were going to show the returns people with a cup of water, if they'd given us trouble when we finally got to exchange the trunks!

I think it's cute!
I have seen women at the resort pools and at the water parks with swim caps on so don't worry about it.

I'd say go for it, its cute.
I really think the nemo one is adorable for kids and I really like the Michael Phelps one :)

I have seen lots of people with swim caps over the years at the pools, so you won't be alone.

There are 2 things I might be concerned about buying one from that particular website:
- since the site is selling solutions for people with hair loss, the caps might be designed to fit much tighter to the head and there may not be space to get your hair in
- regular swim caps don't always keep the hair dry. Since the people this website is aimed at are concerned about keeping their head protected, their caps may be designed more for style than keeping the head dry.

I'm not saying not to buy one (I think they are very cute), but I would try it out at a time when you don't care whether or not your hair gets wet.
