would it be odd to have fish extenders on a reg cruise?

So my family and I are going doing a Disney cruise this coming Thanksgiving. I've read about the fish extenders and think it sounds like fun. So I am thinking of making seveal for my family...tho not telling them about it and then putting them up once the cruise has started, using it as adelivery system for little treats for my neices and nephews.

Would it be odd for me to do this while not being a part of a bigger FE exchange?

I don't think it's odd, but you may end up receiving gifts from others on board! Maybe check in on the cruise boards for any FE being planned and let them know you are not expecting to be part of their group? Maybe lay in a supply of small gifts for those who include you guys anyway?

Either way, I think your family will enjoy the surprises!

Have a great trip.

I agree...not odd at all...but why not go find your cruise on the cruise boards and join the FE for your cruise....you could do just your cabin or put your whole family down...you don't have to reveal any information about those in your cabins other than the room number and it's a great way to explore the ship when you deliver you gifts, which don't have to be super elaborate like some people do...we normally just do candy bags
