Would I get to do more with an express pass for one day or buy 2 day park tickets?

OK, so we've never been to Universal and we're trying it for the first time in April (the first full week). We're staying offsite and we really only wanted to allot one day to Universal because of other things we wanted to do that week. I know the crowds will be a large factor and wondering whether to buy the express pass for one day or regular ticket (both parks) for 2 days. Which would be more efficient in seeing and doing more?

In order to see everything in both parks, you will need two full days. If you only want to see the highlights, you can do that in a single day...provided the lines for HP aren't too bad. If you're coming during Spring Break, the Express Plus pass will be very helpful but wait until you arrive to personally check out the lines before spending the money. Arriving early is the key so you may be able to do the bigger attractions w/o using the EP.
