Would a camera be a pain for a teen to carry around?

I'm debating whether or not to bring my digital camera on my senior trip to disney (for 4 days). I'm thinking of not carrying anything into the parks since that can be a pain to lug around, I'm think of just sticking with the basics: cash, debit card, small sunblock, & sunglassses. Should I bring a camera to the parks or would it be hard to store when going on rides like TOT, RnRC, MS, and TT? I don't know what to do, thanks for your help!

I was lugging my own camera around in the parks since I was 8, so I don't think it's a pain. And that was one of those now-ancient Polaroid one-step cameras.

And why do you need to store it on a ride? Just put the wrist strap around your wrist or neck strap around your neck.

how about getting one of those cute little Q aps cameras that hang around ones neck -
I almost bought one for dd 10
but I take MORE THAN ENOUGH pictures for everyone in the family with the 4 cameras I isist on draggind everywhere (yes 4 - an slr, a digital, underwater disposable, and regular disposable - lol)

I do not think you will find it to be a pain.

I also take a digital, SLR as well as an underwater camera for Splash and Kali.

A pain but you want one to capture all that that magic in my opinion. :goodvibes :flower:

Nah, we make DS lug the tripod, spare batteries and camera around each trip ;)
We own 2 dig. cameras and I am getting a compact one for next trip as the others are too high spec and too bulky....

bring the camera! This is your senior trip and you will want the pictures of your friends for later when you may lose touch or something to look back on in 10 years or so if you still are friends. Things such as What was I thinking when I wore that or had my hair like that? or I can't believe how good I look in that picture. As long as your camera is not huge, I would carry it. If yours is expensive/large, you could always go the disposable route and then not have to worry about ruining it. You could always carry your camera in your fanny pack/purse/bookbag or whatever you are carrying your other stuff around in and it will be fine on all the rides

Definatly DEFINATLY bring your camera. I brough mine on My senior trip to disney(2003) and wouldnt trade any of the memories for the world. Its a good way to remember those people, cause odds are, you will lose touch with them after a while. Trust me when I say, Disney Grad Nite is the best time you will ever have. Your lucky your going for 4 days...we left on friday morning and came back sunday night. Dumb school board. lol.
Id just bring a digital camera that has video taking capabilities so you can take short films if you want too. That worked best for me, me and my little Canon.

Have an awesome time! And enjoy it!

Those are horrible cameras and they get returned ALL THE TIME (I work in a camera store). The quality is horrible and the film and developing are more expensive than normal film. By all means, get her a camera but not one of those.

Personally, I'd try to find a way to bring the camera. If you have shorts with a belt, you could buy an inexpensive fabric care that fits on a belt. Or one of those small mini backpack pocketbooks. After all what are you doing with your sunglasses whne you're on a roller coaster? You may also find you want a cell phone or walky talky or water bottle, or who knows? I wear a fanny pack, but come to think of it, I haven't seen too many teens with those on, so that must be a fashion taboo right now.

Hey! I got back from my trip last week :(, I wish I was still in Florida! I had an awesome time. I took my digitial and a disposable camera and took some pics. My friend took an insane amount of photos on her digital and I got the disk for them. Its so fun to look back on the fun times we had
