Would a 3 year old be able to hold the gun at Buzz Lightyear in the Magic Kingdom?

We are heading down next week with our 2 1/2 yo and 3 1/2 yo grandkids. It is worth it going on Buzz, or are they too small to reach and move the gun?

I don’t think so. The lasers are mounted to the top of the front of the compartment door, well out of reach for a 3 year-old.

And even if they could reach (which I doubt), they are unlikely to be able to aim, pull the trigger, or score.

My twin girls were able to use it at age 2 1/2 and 4. I just helped them aim....not that they really cared about their scores

My thought is worst-case, they could sit on a lap to reach. I think they'd have fun just with the excitement of the lights and noise and all the action around them. If they're pulling the trigger on the gun and aiming at bad guys, they're going to have fun with it - they really won't care if they're hitting targets or scoring.

But I have to admit, we have no first-hand experience on Buzz with a 3 year-old.

Have kids sit on lap if too short. At that age , it's more fun making the car spin around and jiggle the gun. Who cares about score.
