Worth paying more $$ for Candy Cane Inn over Anaheim Hotel?

My wife and I are at the Candy Cane Inn at the moment. We did not book with the AAA rate but were asked at the desk if we were a Triple A member and we were given the discount. This motel is excellent. Newly refurbished so the rooms seem very new and very clean (an added plus, A/C worked extremely well). The free breakfast is excellent in terms of selection and upkeep. The one thing that stands out here is the exceptional service. Everyone working here offers a smile and hello, and seeks ways to be of service. At breakfast this morning my wife and I were looking for a table and out of nowhere a worker appeared, asked if we'd been helped, then grabs an extra table and sets it up for us. This place is not only well managed, but it's also well staffed with hard-working professional people. Distance-wise from the front gate it's about a 10 minute walk at a brisk pace. If you can get a good rate I would highly recommend it.

The rooms at Anaheim Hotel are quite a bit larger than CCI. Love the Pizza Press on site. I personally don't care much about motel breakfasts so that doesn't figure in my decision although CCI has good pastry.
