I would have to agree about the TRex restaurant.... my DS 6 rode the Dino ride in the AK this past Nov and he was scared... I saw the TRex opening day video on YouTube, and it actually looked intimidating, almost sensory overload, and with a 2 yr old? Yeah, I think DHS is a better choice... As far as which restaurant instead, that is hard to say.... We had dinner at Mama Melrose, and it was pretty good. We were supposed to have dinner at Sci Fi, but we were so burned out that we opted to go eat Pizza on the boardwalk and veg out instead, so I have never been there. I am making an ADR for desert there this time... But it does look fun, so maybe that would be a good restaurant? But definitely if he likes Starwars, the Jedi camp, Indiana Jones, the stunt car show, lots of engaging things, and of course TSM... There is the great Bug's Life play yard, which can get crazy, but both mine 6 & 3 loved it to just climb about... You'll get to see all those characters, for sure, if you are there for a good portion of the day... They have the schedule for the character meet and greets... Are you trying to find a fun dinner spot in DHS to celebrate his birthday? DD would like the Beauty and the Beast show, so that would be a good activity for her, and the Play House Disney circuit. I'll take a closer look at the Passporter...;)
I'm with you about the TRex. I think the noise level would upset my DD. She doesn't like loud noises - at all. I'm with you thinking that Jedi camp will be up his ally!

Right now we are planning to have breakfast at the POLY with Stitch, and I have ressies for CM at 7:55 pm - he has informed me that MICKEY is for babies, but I think his tune will change once we are there. I just don't know how to best plan that day out. My original thought was that he could go to the toy store at DTD and spend his $$ on his birthday -

His birthday day is still just such a work in progress. It is hard to make all that fit plus the little one's nap.

love the photos!!!
Thank you! I wish I could find the stupid CD. :headache:

Love the pics. He is so gosh darn cute.
Yeah, I'll keep him. :lovestruc You know how moms are with their boys. I hope your flight isn't delayed one bit and you have a blast at CBR! Looking forward to your live updates! :goodvibes

I finally found my CD! :cool1:

Here is DS with Stitch. He had seen Stitch before we went, but our first morning there Stitch called to say WAKEY WAKEY and DS was smitten from that point on.

Lighnin or "SPEED" as he is called in our house, was away in California, which REALLY was not cool with DS. He was his favorite. BUT we got to see Mater.

Here is what the park looked like when we finished our CP breakfast before the park opened. I HIGHLY recommend doing it!

This foto was taken about 4 ish in the afternoon. This is why you really want to get them done earlier. See how harsh the sun was and how it really made a good picture kinda yuck

This one was taken just when we arrived at MK for the first time - both of us. It was about noon I think. I sware this photographer was worth his weight in gold.

Okay, there you go. A nice dose of Disney for the day!

Our Anniversary is technically the 12th. So it will be a couple days after we leave. HOWEVER, if we were home, we would celebrate it the weekend before, so I feel okay doing a dinner prior.

Originally, I have booked Maya Grill for that Friday. Reviews are okay, but I'm really doubting it. Maybe I should do a poll. :confused3

It is among that, San Angels, or Boma.

Great pictures!

Are you planning to do DHS on the day you have reservations for Polly and for CM? What resort are you staying at?
I think I missed this on the first page of your PTR ... I am bummed I don't have pictures from my visit this past Nov. I accidently cleared the camera card...:headache: I was so bummed....:sad2: anyway, I think your plans sound great... Love the little autograph books, btw!:thumbsup2

Yes, I made the mistake of saying "HONEY, what do you want to do your birthday?" :lmao:

Our plans that day are roughly this...

1. get up at CSR, get a cab to POLY for breakfast at Ohana at 7:55.
2. Have a nice breakfast with toast. Mommy is going to put on the sweetest smile ever, declair I do not do eggs, and ask for some Tonga Toast - playing for sympathy off my son's birthday. :rotfl2:
3. Leave Poly for DHS - may take a taxi or the bus, not sure which yet
4. Planning on getting to DHS somewhere between 9:30-10
5. Check in and get his birthday cash
6. (HERE IS WHERE I"M NOT REAL SURE WHAT IS WHAT YET)
get FP to TSM
do Jedi Training
do PHD for little girl
meet characters
Muppet show
:confused3 maybe DH will want to ride Star Tours:confused3 Me - no thanks.
lunch :confused3 I'm sure DS will want to do Pizza Planet again. I HATED that place. The upstairs thing when you are scared of heights is NOT NICE. :sad2:
nap @ CSR
bus to DTD - Toy Store
EITHER dinner here @ DTD (thinking Earl - everyone loves sandwiches) or do the 7:55 CM. I tell ya, I'm almost tempted to do the 7:55 @ CM and then maybe pop over to MK for fireworks.
That next morning is suppose to be our first day in MK though, I just don't know how to work this day out. :sad2:

Hey Lorrie i'm here sorry it's taken me sooo long but i am now here
Loving all plans and all piccies can't wait to see pics of your princess meeting the princesses :flower3:

Hey Ms. I'm going to be at Disney for two and a half weeks! :goodvibes I'm so glad you are all booked! :goodvibes

Where have I been????? :confused3

Just read through where I left off about a week ago - you've been busy posting pix!!!

You mentioned taking a cab to Ohana for bfast - why not take the bus to MK, then hop the monorail to Poly? I'm sure the buses will be running to MK for early breakfast ADRs there..... just a thought! And it would be fun for everyone to ride the monorail!

Love those pics, btw!!! Why haven't we seen them before?

I know I posted some of them when we came back - just not sure which :confused3.

WELL - the bus thing is a long story. I got the business from the booking agent who told me since MK opened at 9 am, the bus going to MK wouldn't start until 8 am. I said I thought there was a character dining bus running (and we used the bus last year for our 8 am MK breakfast :confused3 ) but she INSISTED that wouldn't work, so I just thought we'd maybe use a cab to not have the headache. I don't know. That is a good point about the monorail though. Wouldn't we have to ride it past Cont, GF & then reach Poly? I think she said we could be there by cab at 15 minutes tops - might give us some extra snoozy time.

To avoid that problem, we sat the Princess Breakfast and the Tusker House up for 8:30 - so that wouldn't be an issue. I just figured with all the cut backs - maybe she was right. I've talked to a lot of the CMs and she really seemed more knowledgable and with it than most.

We'll see how it goes. Captain prisser will be in the bathroom. I sware he takes twice as long to get ready than me. I'll be ready, have the kids ready and he will still be getting ready. And it isn't like he looks that different than when he went in. You'll see.:sad2:

I'm soooooooo glad you found your CD? Doesn't it drive you nuts when stuff like that happens?!? It does me! The pictures are so much fun to see. I'm glad you posted.

Don't be feeling weird about celebrating your anniversary on a day that isn't technically your anniversary. We are doing the same thing. I'm going to proudly wear my anniversary button on the entire trip!:cool1:

I voted for SAI. I love the atmosphere there. I think it would be more fun to have a celebration dinner in a place where you are served (as opposed to a buffet.)

Your photos of your little boy with the "Genie that was supposed to be Stitch" face was TOOOOOOOOO precious! I was rolling. :lmao: That scenario reminds me of all the "good intentions" I had on my last trip to WDW... At least he was a good sport :upsidedow You both look really happy in the other photos! :goodvibes

I totally can get bent when I can't find something. It drives me nuts. As for the anniversary, the masses say SAI, so there you go!

Oh I know. That was my husbands favorite photo! Seriously, he laughed and laughed. We did have a great time. I had been focusing so much on the little one who had just turned 1 with her nursing that I really wanted to have some us time for me and DS. It was a good three days, but honestly after the first few hours he really missed Daddy and his little sister - and that made it hard for him to really enjoy everything. We did have a good time, but I'm certain this time will be amazing with all of us there. :goodvibes

As for the face, I overheard a mom walking by that she couldn't believe I was washing it off right after it was done. I'm just not like that. Just because it cost money I wasn't going to make him wear it. In truth, I think it scared him. :confused3 All I know is he was one happy little boy to get that off his face!

I think the only way he will do it this time is if I go first. So this should be interesting!:lmao:

Captain Prisser!!!! :lmao:

That CM may be right with the cutbacks. I know when we had our BBB appt last year at 8:05 at MK (didn't open until 9 that day), we caught a bus at 7:25 from Pop. So I know they DID run early, but I would just check at the front desk, OR even ask a bus driver or two on your first day.

As much as I love Disney, sometimes they are not all up to date on what is going on and it drives me nuts!

Oh I get the sibling thing, boy do I ever. We used Disney for the same reason when DS 3 came on the scene, to distract from all the time the new baby was taking ;) RE that other mom and the makeup -- WHATever. :snooty: Take care of you kid and I will take care of mine... right?!

Your Birthday day sounds like it will be action packed!!! You can make the lightsaber, btw, also in DHS, in the Star Tours Shop. Don't know if you knew that, but I remember seeing it there, and I remember you mentioning this on a previous post... Have a good day! :)

NO! I did not realize that at all about the make your own Lightsaber in DHS! That was one of the main reasons I was thinking of heading over the DTD that night! :woohoo:

SO NOW, we could probably just hang out there and either go to DTD or stay for a while - or nap and come back - or whatever!

THANK YOU SOM MUCH!! :cheer2:

I forgot to tell you earlier...I've read you can get Tonga Toast at the CS at the Poly!:thumbsup2 You could just head over there before Ohana.

Also, if you ended up doing CM now since you might not go to DTD, you don't have to go to MK to watch the fireworks. You could ride the monorail, which most kids like, you could try to sit up front, and head over to Poly or GF to watch from their beaches.:confused3 Then you wouldn't have to deal with the crowds and such. Then you might also catch the Water parade on the lagoon.
