We want to just bring our stroller with us. Our DS will be 17 months old and so will still be carrying diaper bag with us. So would like to take his stroller as nicer than the rentals with more storage space. What are the chances that it will get stolen while we are all on an attraction? Can we lock it up?

We have been travelling to WDW with a stroller for over 10 years and have never had a problem with it being taken. We have even had a very expensive PegPerego double stroller - no problems.

Now sometimes CMs will move the strollers to the proper stroller parking area, so it may not be exactly where you left it.

This past summer I got smart and wore a fanny pack with small wallet, cell phone, glasses etc and left only the diapers, wipes, small toys etc in the diaper bag hanging off the stroller. In the past I have taken the diaper bag on all the rides. The fanny pack was much easier.

I agree, with a 17 month old, taking your own reclining stroller is the way to go.

Have a great trip.:D

You can't lock the stroller to any object because CM's may need to move it to re-arrange the pack. Some people have said they put a bike lock through the tires so you can't roll it. But I think that would get real old real fast! I kept the diapers/wipes/cream in a ziplock in the basket so no one would be tempted to steal a backpack/diaper bag. I kept his snacks in our backpack that we carried on rides. We tied a bright lime green bunch of curling ribbon to the handle so we could find the stroller easily when it had been moved.

Good luck
