Worried about my cupcakes! Cupcakes at Poly?

We have had to switch our ressie from CR to Poly. (i know, poor pitiful me) All my boys and I loooove the cupcakes at Contempo Cafe though and i am worried about our cupcakes!! It is what we always chose as our snack. actually, we love the plain vanilla cake flavor with the yummy brightly colored icing. Does CC have good cupcakes and baked goods or do i need to plan in daily trips to CR?

They're really not that far away on the monorail. I always stop at Contempo Cafe at least once during vacation for one of those giant cupcakes - I love the dulche de leche one. I've seen the plain cupcakes elsewhere, but not the filled ones.

(Doesn't matter where I'm staying - when we stayed at POR, I went over to the CR one night after park closing because the line for the bus was ridiculous. LOL)

I think I remeber Poly having cupcakes but they dont sound like the ones from CR. I say ride the monorail over there get a 6 pack on your SC (if its applies) and put them in your room fridge, you can put them out to let them get to room temp before eatting them

In my experience the Poly has the plain vanilla and plain chocolate with the neon pink or blue icing but the CR has more upscale decorative flavorful ones

OMG! I just googled this & those cupcakes are HUGE! Can't wait to try them on our August trip to BLT.

The cupcakes that we saw at CC were basically like bigger versions of the free cupcake that some of the restaurants give out. Vanilla with vanilla and I think the other choice is chocolate/chocolate (but could be vanilla chocolate). The didn't have the fancier "gourmet" varieties that we saw at Contempo. I got a bday cupcake at 'Ohana and it was very tasty though - just plain.

Yes, they really are very yummy! I even just like the plain/ non- gourmet flavors. I wish i had a photo, but was too busy eating. They are in comtempo cafe and yes they can be used as dessert on a CS meal or as a 'snack.' sounds like we are going to monorailing around to get one in the afternoons.

MY, MY, MY, MY, MY.... cupcakes sure have changed since I was little.....

I absolutely cant wait until I meet this deliciousness in person.
