Would your husband have a problem w/ you calling them so you can make PS reservations if they want any? It would be a courtesy - You never know... maybe they have always dreamed of having breakfast w/ Condy

(I now have a picture of Condi Rice in a Cinderella gown going from table to table giving autographs and making nice to toddlers.)

I had the same idea as you!!!! Only she wasn't in a Cinderella gown, just her ordinary clothes and she was signing autographs.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Gotta Love Typo's! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I think we have the next great Character Breakfast! It could be a Whitehouse theme. W would HAVE to be Mickey - but as a face character. Who would Cheney be? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I agree as well.

I do what a lot of others do. "Want to come with us? GREAT!!! Go to the DISboards Rent/Trade Board and rent points for $10-12 pp. It's a heckuva deal for you, and we'll have the time of our lives together at WDW."

Sure, I know I could rent them the points -- but I don't want to be in the jam you're in. :sad2:

Agree 100%. Tell spouse to get a grip there is nothing wrong with a reminder email making sure everything is organized. Use PS, pass discounts, ground transportation or some other issue as the theme of the email.

You could also renegotiate your split from rental of points -- you should get the greater of the maintenance fees lost or one half of the rental. :) Let the uncommunicative one take the hit.

Good luck.

Considering that DH is an economist and the others are entrepeneurs, the breakfast with "Condy" might just bring 'em all in! :rotfl2:

I am feeling so much PAIN, we leave in 9 days. Not for me but for our son. We have been talking up this senior summer trip for this summer (he'll graduation 2006). He asked 4 friends to go. They have been dropping off like flies the last 3 months. We are down to one and we got a call last night to find out that he probably won't be able to go. We have a Grandvilla booked at OKW. Not a big deal the more room for the other 8 of us is okay with me. But at VERO we have 3 rooms (2bdr, studio, studio) reserved. I potentially only need 1 (2 to make it more comfortable).

I almost want to ask if anyone has a 17 yo (well versed in Disney) boy that wants to go.

PIXIE DUST TO ALL.

Just a note to say that sometimes these trips can work. We just returned from a trip that we started planning in February of 04 with 24 family members. Not a single person backed out. My DH could not believe that something planned that long ago went off without a hitch. Everyone went and everyone got along great.

Good luck and if you need someone to go with you I am close by!
Lori
