World Showcase Counter Service Recommendation

Hi. I will be going to Epcot with my DD (7) in June and hope to get a reservation for the princess lunch for my DD and I. For dinner I hope to take her to a restaurant in the World Showcase, but it needs to be counter service. She's a little picky and loves Mac n cheese but I think she'd be willing to try something a little different because she's the one who's begging to go "around the world" at Epcot. Her Godmother is Japanese so I thought maybe Japan, but would be open for suggestions. Thank you. Beejie

I was going to suggest either Yakitori House in Japan or the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. You can check out all the menus and see what's available.

We like to pick a little at several of the CS places. I love the black beans and churros in Mexico, egg rolls in China, sweet pretzels in Norway, couscous in Morroco, etc. We always save one night for "eating around the world".

The Japan CS is ok, if you like tempura, which I do. The ginger cake for dessert is the best part though. The rest was not all that impressive.
