World of Disney vs DL prices

Hey everybody!
Just making out our souvenir list for all the people we need to bring stuff back for, and I'm wondering....

Are souvenirs usually cheaper in the World of Disney store in DTD, or are they similar to the park?

I haven't actually done any comparisons but I think they are the same prices.

They are the same. Most of the souvenir products are made for both parks. Kevin has done a rant on that on the podcast - mourning the movement toward generic merchandising of the parks and company!

I don't think they offer any AAA merchandise discounts, but there are plenty of DVC discounts. You can get a Member Perks booklet when you check into one of the Disney owned hotels. If you aren't staying on points, just show them your card.

The DVC discounts are also listed on the DVC member website.

If you spend $50 or more you can receive a 10% discount for being a Disney VISA cardholder. If you order a DL package through AAA, I believe you get a AAA diamond card which entitles you to a discount as well.

WoD prices are the same as DL or DCA prices. They have the same merch so yup, they cost the same.

You can get an AP holder discount (if you have an AP) or the 10% off $50 or more with your Disney Visa. I don't know about any others, those are the 2 I use the most.

You could also check the Character Warehouse in Fullerton, they sometimes have the same things that are in the parks at a cheaper price. Not very often, but it does happen.

I believe the AP discount at World of Disney is only good for Premium APs. I remember being disappointed that I wasn't getting that discount with the Deluxe AP.

Hmmm, I know I got discounts at WoD.....maybe because I used my Disney Visa though.
