World of Color Summer 2018

Anyone know what the show will be this Summer? Will it be Pixar themed? The original? Something else?

They haven't made any announcements about World of Color. At this point, it looks like it's going on hiatus starting on April 13 (with the kick off Pixar Fest) and they haven't said when it'll return.

Honestly, I kind of doubt that they'd develop a new WoC for this summer. If they were going to do that, I would have expected them to announce it with the other Pixar Fest stuff. So, if it does come back this summer, I would expect to see the regular show.

Is there a chance it might not repoen for the Summer? I had figured this would maybe be a month or so refurbishment at most. We'll be there in August. Hopefully it's back on. It's one of our favorite attractions.

I agree. I think they would have said something as part of the Pixar announcement. It will be interesting to see how long it's closed. I wonder if they'd keep it closed all summer then put PTN on hold and bring WOC back. We all wondered how they would work out the logistics of doing both.....

I read somewhere not that long ago that it will reopen on June 22. I think it’s going down in relation to the construction on the pier. My guess is so they can work on the launch part of the rollercoaster since it’s over the water.
