Is anyone planning on going to see this, or has anyone gone to see it at any of the other locations?

I'm going to a show at the Mark Taper Forum on the 29th (Thursday); it's right across the street from the Disney Concert Hall where the WoC show will be on display. We're trying to gauge what sort of crowd/traffic it might bring in.

I hesitate to do this because I'm hoping for no crowds or traffic when we're down there, but: http://disneylandevent.com/woc/

It doesn't give much info because, from what I've read elsewhere, they don't actually want people to go. They're not setting up seating or blocking traffic. It's meant to be viewed online. ...I don't get the point of that, but I guess they think it will appeal to people.

We'll probably end up taking a look at it... or be forced to while sitting in traffic.

I saw it in Sac a couple of weeks ago. Not at all worth it in my opinion.

The whole thing lasted between 5-10 minutes and half of it was some cartoon that wasn't even Disney, then a Pixar short, then a seen from:

snow white
pocahontus
and I think Cinderella

We got there about an hour early and it just wasn't worth it. Mickey and Minnie were there but they wouldn't let the 5 or so kids that were there super early meet them, my dd was very upset by this.

Damn, there is no way I'm trying to make it there from Century City for 5-10 minutes.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was disapointed by the Road Show. I live in PA (1st trip to CA in 3 weeks!) so I had to watch it online and was thinking "thats it?!" when it was over. I thought I missed part of it but no the show was only 10mins. For some reason I thought they were going to project the whole WOC show on the monuments? Oh well, hopefully I will get to see the show in person next month.

Sorry about your DD not getting to meet Mickey & Minnie. I think the Road Show was a good idea in theory but definately poorly executed.
