World of Color & Park Hours - Confused

The park hours and World of Color times have been released for or trip. The website says that World of Color starts at 9pm. This is the same time that it says DCA closes. Is this normal? Doe it mean that we have to be in DCA by a certain time? I just find this a little confusing.

This is normal. Actually, I think it's often 15 mins past closing. For example, @10:15 when park closes at 10.

I don't think I've ever seen it scheduled right at closing time...

As others have said, it's normal to have WoC at or just a little past closing. Personally, I think they do this so they can stagger the crowds exiting the park and heading for the trams and buses.

As others have said they schedule the show around closing time, and when they have two shows in the summer the second is at closing too. But another little tip is that you can get in a ride queue before closing and they won't kick you out. So if RSR has a 75 minute wait and you get in line at 8:50 on a 9:00 closing you can wait through the line. And since FP is closed at park closing, many report the lines move faster after closing.
