Can anyone who has been there recently confirm for me that they are still offering a World of Color LUNCH at Carthay Circle Theater? I'm seeing a menu for it but it's a couple of months old.

I'm going for lunch on 12/5, booked under a WoC package. Lunch reservations are taken until 4:25. Dinner service starts at 4:30. The WoC lunch menu is a (relative) bargain at $42. Dinner is $64.

Someone on Yelp recently (November 11) posted a menu and review of the WOC lunch. It looks like the current adult options are:

Appetizer: Soup of the season or Autumn Salad
Entrees: Chicken Scaloppini, Steak Salad, 8 oz Angus Burger, Chicken and Spinach Ravioli, Tempura Fried Shrimp, Salmon, Beef Sandwich
Dessert: Chocolate Crème Brulee, Pineapple Coconut Semifreddo.

Today's Catch served with Steamed Red Potatoes and Broccoli. Served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani Water


Traditional Mini Crispy Tacos with Chicken and Grated Cheese. Served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani Water


Soba Noodle Bowl with Beef, Snow Peas, and Broccoli. Served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani Water


Desserts (2)

Green Apple Caramel Parfait Push Pops
Green Apple and Lemon Raspberry Sorbets layered with Caramel

Single Scoop of Ice Cream
Old Fashioned Vanilla, Chocolate Chunk, or Strawberries and Cream

There were definitely autumn offerings on yesterday's WoC CCR menu. The burger is still there, of course, but there were seasonal offerings as well. So the menu, or at least the preparations of certain menu items, does change with the seasons. That's pretty much de rigeur for a restaurant like CCR, which touts fresh seasonal ingredients.

We did it in October.

Dessert: Chocolate Crème Brulee, Pineapple Coconut Semifreddo.

I thought the chocolate creme brulee was mis-named. It's more like chocolate mouse in a cake/cookie crust with a layer of candied sugar on top.

Thanks for the information! After all that, my husband just yelled from the living room, "Ah, screw it. Let's do the dinner." LOL! And now it looks like we're going on April 1st.
