And this is the reason why I do not like 3 countries co-hosting. USA Mexico and Canada should be fighting for the slot. Giving all 3 a slot takes away at least 1 spot from another country - it just does.

You're right, For Canada it depends on who wins that playoff spot. You'd think it would be Italy, but......

Italy is #12
Switzerland is #17
Canada is #27

So....if it's Italy then chalk would say Canada finishes #3 behind Italy and Switzerland but you never know and Canada gets that home crowd; game 1 is Toronto and 2/3 are in Vancouver

Italy may very well not qualify. They have to beat Northern Ireland. And then either Wales or Bosnia to qualify. My bet is on Wales.

I'm talking not about kids participating. I'm talking about full support for CPL and MLS teams, radio/sports shows actively talking about national team players every week, local communities watching all Canmnt matches (including friendlies). I wish for the same thing here in the USA. The MLS final is tomorrow with Miami playing against Vancouver. How many Canadians care? It's not a dig at Canada but part of the reason the tournament is coming to our countries is to have a lasting impact on people of all ages.
