a week and trying to take care of John is no easy task. So I am hear Hello everyone whats new.
I have only one complaint John will not do what I tell hi. What should I do with him?????

Shirley,
You have three choices for a husband that won't listen

1) let him continue to ignore you. which will only make him feel worse so he will complain more, so you are not making out on that one.
2) toss him out because he won't listen to you. which doesn't sound like a good idea. It is more trouble to break in a new model than to just repair the old.
3) Make him read these boards and we will all yell at him.

John, listen to Shirley, she is a mother and mother's know what is best for you

Hope that helps and hope he is on his way to recovery soon. Peggie

hide his hat until he does what you want him too!

Shirley.......if John isn't listening to you and doing what you tell him to do, it can only mean one thing.....HE'S GETTING BETTER!!! The only time they ever listen and behave is when they are REALLY sick. All other times, they are just faking and being big babies, looking for attention and sympathy.

Glad to know he's on the road to recovery. Give him my best....

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I think I have him under control now. I did everything you guys told me to do. He is even doing the dishes.
