The workers are voting on their contract today and the union is encouraging a strike.

A strike by CMs would mean possibly having to cross picket lines and some of us would not want to do that. (I am fully aware that this might not bother others at all.) In addition a strike would likely affect the service at WDW.

The news article link posted by thegoods (thanks, thegoods) says that the vote today is not yet a strike vote but that a strike vote at a later date is not being ruled out.
