Work from Home, Alpine Access

I am looking for a work at home job, I looked online and found Alpine does anyone work for this company, or have you heard of it?

I read an article about work at home jobs (I actually work from home myself, and have been for about 3 and a half years) and one of the companies mentioned was Alpine Access. The article was on the Career Builder, and was linked from MSN or Yahoo, so I am sure it is a legitimate company. Good luck!

Alpine has a prety good rep in the work at home field-they are employeed based and do have scheduled shifts and I believe a straight hourly rate. workplacelikehome has a discussion board for them. Good luck

I have heard they are reputable however I have heard that it is hard to get a job with them and then the work is not very stable. Also I have heard it is not easy to do with kids at home that is one of the reason I love what I do because I have 2 small children. I personally don't think companies like Alpine pay enough to make it very worth while.

Hi, I worked for 2 decent work at home companies, one is westat.com (they do phone surveys mostly government stuff like health surveys, transporation surveys etc...never any selling, they pay weekly from what I remember and direct deposit your check, have been around forever), they pay about $8.25/hr to start and give periodic raises and you can pretty much pick your hours, it is easy and most of the time the people you call are pre-screened (and they even pay the participants an incentive on some) so they know you are calling, the other is westathome.com, they do customer service phone work--mainly you answer the phone for infomercials, I did not like this as well, they require you to try to sell some extra things and I am not a sales person. Also check this site: workplacelikehome.com, it is a board like the DIS only for work at home jobs. All the legit companies are listed there and it gives links to where to apply all in one place.
