To Pete, the podcast team, all the folks at Dreams, and anyone els I'm forgetting:
I know you guys have been working real hard to make this cruise something else. I also assume that with only days to go, the tension, anxienty, and frustration of trying to make every aspect just a little bit better than perfect are at an all time high. I'm betting that the questions "Why am I doing this?" and "Is it all really worth it?", have been asked a few times by now. Well I can answer both of those for you. Why are you doing this?--Because it's what you do. No matter how big of fans we all are of Disney, the Podcasts, and all of you, you take the cake. You make it extra special for each and every one of us. You guys manage to capture that "Disney Magic" daily, and then share with each and every one of us. I can't say for certain, but I bet ole Walt is smiling down right now, proud to see his legacy living on. Is it all really worth it?--Absolutly yes!! This is going to be the best cruise to ever happen on DCL. This is going to set a new standard. Just looking at the schedule of events already in place, I'm amazed. When we first booked this, my thought were, "Okay, but I hope they don't do a bunch of junk that gets in the way of all the regular DCL events." Now, after hearing everything thats going on, reading all the great posts here, and hearing the palpable excitement in all your voice when you start talking about what to expect, I could hardly care about what else is going on, during the cruise.
So with only a few more days to wait, thanks. Your efforts are much appreciated. I am really looking forward to all the fun we're going to have starting this weekend, and I know that the only complaint will be that it all ended too soon. Besides, if something is really off, or unpleasant, or below standard, I know which deck the Walt and Roy suites are on!! J/K
I know it's going to be great, and can't wait to get to port!! Thanks again!!!!
