A month or so ago, there was a post about Shula's offering a meal special. After the details were listed and the review was done of it, I asked if they allowed the Tables in Wonderland discount against this, and the answer was "yes".
I wanted to say that Tables in Wonderland is not applicable to anything listed as a dining special at Shula's. I learned this on Tuesday. If someone was given the discount against the special, it was an error made by a server and not part of Shula's policies.
I thought the meal and service were excellent and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. But I had to speak to a manager about honoring Tables in Wonderland because we mentioned it to our server before we ordered, and he did not tell us we couldn't use TiW until the check arrived. Under those circumstances the manager gave us the discount with the understanding that Shula's will not honor it for specials not listed on the main menu.
