sorry for the yay me, but i just got into that fireworks zone today and hit a new high score! working on it for months, i'm so happy now that I can get past 280,000, but never thought I'd break 285! now i need to work on catching those pesky 85 ghosts. spent so much time on fireworks that i'm a novice at haunted mansion...
I thought i'd better take a picture before the likes of NaviMap or SillyKid knock me off the top ten

We are around to help with ghosts usually in the evenings (since some of
us can't access VMK from work). I've found these things will help you:

Play alone against 4 people who will volunteer to help you.

If you turn into a ghost, get yourself "cleaned" by the other team ASAP.
The faster you're clean, the more ghosts you can catch.

Go to where the most ghosts are. Time and again, I see people stuck on
whatever level trying to clean that elusive last ghost. If six ghosts are
on another level, abandon the chase and clean the crowd of ghosts first.
You'll probably find that one ghost has found more friends for you to clean
when you're done.

Have one person be your designated follower. Clean them if they turn into
your ghost color, but remember, those double-points do NOT count as
part of your final score.

Play three rounds. Chances are good that the other team will win the first
round. In order to win round two, you probably will have to have them
turn into your ghost color for you to clean.
