I bought a really nice wool sweater over Thanksgiving weekend that fit really nice on me with the weight I've lost.

Well tonight I washed it for the first time and without even thinking I put it in the dryer - it said to hand wash cold (I washed on delicate with Woolite) and dry flat - I put it in the dryer on low/delicate/cool heat. Didn't even think.

Is there anything I can do to restretch it? If not dd might be able to wear it or I can hang onto it for next year when I'll be able to fit in it again!!!! I'm so upset with myself.

Thanks for any suggestions.
Chris

Hi. Ok I have done this before, with DD's Boyfriend's sweatshirt and it worked. I soak it in water/hair conditioner. Rinse and hang to dry. They say theres something in the conditioner that helps to resize it. GOOD LUCK.

I just remembered that I had posted this and so haven't tried it yet. I don't have any laundry I am going to do tomorrow night so I'll give this a try. I think we have some hair conditioner of dd's. Thanks for the tip!
