WOOHOOO - I got our Magical Express Tags!!!!

Our trip is on 9/22, so I really didn't expect them yet, but here they are. I was expecting them to have barcodes on them or something, but no - they're just fancy luggage tags... hmmm.

Also, can we still use our Lime green tags along with them, or do you think it will confuse ME?

Also - what if we have more luggage than tags (they only sent 5) and I want on our stroller.

My ME tags came in a booklet and they are bright yellow with barcodes. Perhaps what you received are the luggage tags. I received one (total # in my reservation) which has the castle on the front. The luggage tag came with my reservation confirmation. My ME tags came later.

Mine came last week and I leave next Monday. I received the castle tag about 3 or 4 days before the ME tags. They didn't come directly to me but went to the travel agent first and were mailed to me. From reading other threads I'm guessing 2 to 3 weeks before travel.

I got my ME tags on Friday for my trip on 9/1. I did not book a package so I am guessing that is why I did not get the luggage tag.

I got what I thought were the tags I needed. Now I'm concerned. I didn't realize there were 2 different things you got from ME.

What I have at home our tags that have my flight info and resort info on it. Is that not what I'll need?

The WDW luggage tags are hard plastic, and have a card on which you can write all of your pertinent identifying information. They come with a rubber or plastic tie that you loop through the slit in the tag, and then you knot it around the luggage handle. These luggage tags are a little "gift" from Disney for booking a package, but have NOTHING to do with DME.

The DME luggage tags are sticky paper. You know when you check in at the airport and the skycap or airline counter person puts tags on your luggage handle with a barcode and a three-letter airport code? The DME tags are that kind of paper, except they are yellow and about half the width of those airline tags. Pre-printed on your DME tags are a bar code, your resort name, the name of the person in whose name the reservation was made, the name of the individual the tag is actually for, your reservation number, and some other number. Mine also had a blue Mickey head with the letters "EC" inside it, but I have no idea if THAT part is standard or not. Anyway, these paper stickers come inside a Disney's Magical Express booklet. The booklet is about the size of airline tickets. On the front of the booklet it says, at the bottom, "You official luggage tags are enclosed."

We got our package from Disney last night. We're not flying so we didn't get the yellow ME tags, but we did get the regular Disney luggage tags and our reservation info!!!! It got me even more excited!!! We leave in less than a month now

We leave in 23 more days!!!!! Our ME Tags are being sent to my friends house, so when I see her tomorrow I will have to ask her if got them yet. When we called for them we where told we would get the ME Tags 3 weeks before our trip.

We are leaving on the 16th also! We also received our luggage tags last week but no DME tags as of yet. I bet it won't be too long.

We leave in 38 days and I am anxiously looking forward to receiving my luggage tags AND my ME tags, and anything else they want to send me! I am more excited than the nieces! They have never been before and they are excited, but they are thinking "King's Island" and I am thinking WALT DISNEY WORLD!

There were two of us staying in our room and we got 4 tags. I'm not sure if they determine the number of tags by room or by occupancy. You should give them a call and find out!
