Woohoo - thanksgiving at the casino

I know it's kinda weird but I finally was able to get a comp room in AC on Thanksgiving night so my mom and I are going to live it up in atlantic city after thanksgiving lunch/dinner. It will only be the two of us and my brother for the holiday. He's not old enough to gamble but he'll end up going to see all his friends who are home from college too anyway and leave me and mom at home to twiddle our thumbs. Wish us luck lol. Hmm if we win enough (I'd be happy with winning anything) we can go to WDW for spring break lol.

Good luck. What casino are you staying at? DH works at Trump Plaza. Believe it or not the day after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest of the year in the casinos.

I'll be staying at Showboat and playing there and at Caesars.


I'll bet that it can get busy on Friday. Luckily most of my play will be Thurs night and Fri morning since I have work Friday night. At least it will keep me from shopping and getting sucked in by those sales and end up buying stuff I don't need - no more shoes and clothes for me, the closet is way too full already lol.

Good luck! Hope you have a lot of fun. I love Atlantic City, and I have really started to enjoy Ceasars. Have you been to the new casino yet, the Borgata? That casino is absolutely beautiful. Do you like the slots or the tables?

I haven't been to the Borgota yet, actually I've never been to the Marina at all. Then again I've only been old enough to go for 4 years and last year was the first time I really gambled at all. I play slots and craps. Lately it has been mostly slots b/c I need a larger bankroll to have a good shot at craps even though I seem to bring home more $$ when I play craps.

I also thought you need a lot more money to play craps, but the dealers at Taj said that it is better to play the 5 and 10 dollar tables because the return is better. That said, it may seem like I have a gambling probem, but I don't . Hehe.

I love the $5 craps tables but boy are they hard to find and if you do find one, getting a spot at the table is torture. I never will play at anything more than a $10 table. I guess I'm too cheap/poor to go for anything else lol.
