WooHoo. My Cricut Cake came today!

I thought they were useless but when I found one for $48 including shipping (regular price $499) and one cartridge I could not resist. Cannot wait to play with it!
I signed up at Hobby Lobby for some cake decorating classes too. This will be so much fun but I have to figure out what to do with the cakes? after I practice.

I would really like one but have resisted because it seems like a frivolous expense. But for $48 I would definitely buy one! I bake and decorate a lot of cakes for birthdays and holidays. (I took the Michaels cake classes.)

Was your deal an eBay deal or something or is it still available?

Just be aware this site has some issues with credit card fraud. I purchase some things last week then I found a thread on one of the scrapbooking forums warning about it. I am hoping we do not have any issues.

I have the regular cricket for scrapbooking and I'm also a hobby cake decorator. I've always wondered how the cricket cake was. I've seen some pretty cakes done with it.

Your cakes look awesome! No problem with CC fraud. I keep one card just for Paypal and keep a minimum balance on it.

Thinking about getting one but for paper crafts not cakes. If anyone uses the cake one for paper please tell me what you think. How different is this one from the expression besides it doing cake stuff. Thanks thinking about buying one so any info asap thanks
