Woohoo...love my DVC was able to just snag xmas break.

Hi,
Been stalking member website while I wait to see if my time off request from work was approved. Hey my daughter is off for 2 weeks....AND I still have my AP.....How can i not go
I wanted 12-26 to 12/30 before a cruise and then 1 more night on 1/4 when i returned.

I called and only SSR was available on 12/29. Booked that while I figure out what to do because room rates were even with DVC discount. Was contemplating POP for 200 a night

Waiting in the car I looked on my phone and WHAT....AKL was available for 12/26-29th kidani standard view OK so no savannah view but WOOOHOOO i have a room with only 1 change. I waitlisted for the last night for AKV so I don't have to move to SSR....so happy I don't even care if I have to move last night.
BWV was avail for 1/4...waitlisting for WLV that night.
IF my AKV waitlist comes thru I will waitlist whole stay for WLV...Good luck with that I know

Again I love my DVC....We are burning my AP card....went 3 times already with it and now another one coming....WITH XMAS DECORATIONS
Figured I would share with my fellow DVC'ers who would get it

Stalked the website again....SSR was avail for my 1st 3 nights so I called MS and prayed they would be able to snag it and not leave me "homeless"

So now I have SSR 12-26-30th. I already had SSR my last night...so I don't have to move now

I waitlisted WLV and Jambo Savannah view.....I know good luck with that....but hey i am soooo happy to have a room in 1 place with such short notice.

So off to the tin can of the Carnival Ecstacy
I'm so excited though on the high seas for NYE I personally like carnival but I will get on the Dream one of these days....just not during a holiday though.
Have a great cruise....wishing us smooth seas

We did the inaugural dream cruise for NYE. Carnival never again. We did BLT and AKV Christmas week and then the cruise. The best two weeks ever.

i love my dvc just as much now as i did in the beginning. we have been members for almost 10 yrs.

i also love aps. it means we can make better use of our dvc. i have gone to disney 2 to 4 times a yr for several yrs now.

akl has the most beautiful christmas decorations. you will love disney at christmas.

Hey carnival is dirt cheap I bet. We cruised Legend last year and did enjoy it alright. Cruising isn't so much our thing but we enjoyed the ports. Happy Cruising and good luck with your wait lists!
