I'm going to Disney World!!

We've had a lot of stuff going on at our place the last couple of years : my dad died, we moved house, first DH was made redundant and then my company was acquired by a competitor so I lost the job I loved.

DH has been setting up his own software company for the last 2 years & I have been supporting him and being the breadwinner (in a new job since March) ... But there hasn't really been much time for fun and I was getting really in need of a vacation...

DH's company has finally got his first contract, so he won't have time or energy to go on holiday, so I was saying I was really wanting a break and he said the words every girl want's to hear...

"If you need a vacation, why don't you go to Disney World!!, you deserve it!"

Whatta man!

So, what are my chances of a studio at BWV, OKW or SSR in october?

I would think BWV might be hard because of the Food&Wine Festival but I bet you could get in at OKW or SSR.

Chances are slim. Everything was sold out for studios except for OKW which I grabbed about a week ago. You might be able to get into OKW on certain dates, but some dates I asked about everything was booked, including one bedrooms. Good luck and let us know what you get!

Gosh, I never knew that the DVC'ers were such a lot of epicurians

I couldn't get in anywhere between 11-22 oct because of the Food & Wine festival. MS offered me PO and CS, but that would be a lot more points!

Luckily I'm flexible, so now I've got the first week of November. (still pretty difficult to get!) Still missing 1 night in the middle so I'm waitlisted and I hope that will come through!

So now I just have to find a flight and start getting excited!

I will be going on my own, so maybe I can meet up with some DISers (DH isn't too keen on internet meets!)
