Congratulations! I love my kindle! There is a good message board out there for kindle lovers called kindleboards.com and I've found a lot of useful information there. They even have a section for free and bargain books for the month which is a great way to stock up on reading material.

The Oberon covers are nice but they are pricey. I got the leather Kindle cover from Amazon with the elastic that keeps it closed and I am very happy with it.

As for a book light I use the Mighty Bright light I picked up at Barnes & Noble, it clips easily to the cover.

They are pricey, but they make your Kindle look and feel like a treasured, leather bound book.

Love the Oberon stuff.

Love mine! I have the leather cover from Amazon that locks into the side. I really like it and like that it locks in. I may splurge and get one of the Oberon (sp?) soon.

I can't speak for their e-book covers, but I bought my Mom the "wild rose" handbag.... And I swear, she can't walk to the mailbox without getting compliments on it.

The craftsmanship is *outstanding*

Oberon makes a very high quality product. Well worth the $$$.

My wife got a Kindle for Mother's Day also (from my daughters), She bought me a Sony E-Reader Touch for Christmas and, while I like it alot, I've had battery issues with it. After dealing with it for a few months I called Sony and, without hesitation, they said " you've got issues (well, yeah) so we're sending you a new one. Great customer service.
