WOO HOO! WLV at 7 mos!

I am SO excited - just got off the phone with MS and we were able to get WLV, 2BR, at the 7 month window!

We've stayed at WL before, but not the villas. This will be our first trip with the 2 oldest granddkids, 7 & 5. I think we'll be more excited than they will!!

Congratulations. We are headed to VWL December 1st and we can't wait to try it! We were able to book at 7 months also!

I have tomorrow to try to switch my ressie for June.

I don't think I will have a problem as it's a studio and I just want to try a different Resort after our 2 stays at SSR.

Congratulations on getting your 2 bedroom VWL! That's where we went with our DGC and extended family in August. We all liked it so much, that we're planning another visit there, Halloween week, 2007!!

I'm glad to hear about the other switches as well. It is good to know that at 7 months at least, there is still some flexibility. I'm especially surprised at the
December VWL ressie, but happy for you, that was our destination last December!!

I'm already planning! The boys are 7 and 5, so they will really enjoy WLV and the proximity to MK. The boats, the monorail, the water parade, the geyser, the pool...won't be the usual relaxing WDW vacation for DH and I, but it sure will be special!

I know the planning never stops I think thats how I get through the stress of my job everyday.I'm really getting ready for our first X-mas right now so I can let that one sit on the burner until the 180 mark.

Congrats on your ressie. Don't forget to take them over to Ft Wilderness too. Easy walk or boat ride from the Villas.

I booked our second May stay at the Villas at the 7 month window a few weeks ago and had no problems getting it.

Just wanted to add my congrats (and eh hem... a little jealousy too... ) VWL is our home resort.

Back in '00 I planned a huge family vaca and due to a glitch, my DH, DS, DD and I ended up at the Wilderness Lodge while the rest of the troops were at the Contemporary. We LOVED it. Of course we learned about DVC while we were there and about 8 months later bought into it. We now visit with the kids every other year. Gotta love that 2 bedroom villa.....
