Woo Hoo Jan Waitlist Came through

My waitlist for the 19-22nd of Jan for a 1 BR at BWV has finally come through. We were at SSR for the 19-22 and then at BWV from the 22-29. Now we will not have to change resorts. My family is super excited. Every other trip we have resort hopped to get as many resorts as we can under our belt so this will be a nice change.
We were a little bummed to see the pool will be closed but if the weather is nice enough to swim, we can hop over to my boys' favorite pool SAB (since Disney is giving privledges to hop over there while Luna Park is closed) Gives me a good excuse to visit my favorite resort BCV and eat at Beaches and Cream!!!!

I know how excited you are. I just checked this morning and my res for SSR on Jan 6-11 is now at BCV!! And it's too early to call and tell our group!

my waitlist came thru too, for bcv for the end of jan. for two studios, i was missing a few days here and there, now i have all our dates for both ressies. i just happened to check the dvc website last friday and there was my waitlist came thru

I am sooo happy for all of you - I am still waiting for my waitlist to come through (January 1st - 5th).

Keep your fingers crossed for me! I am taking my mom on her first trip to DW!

You gotta love that 30 day mark...my waitlist for boardwalk view came through as well. I had a pool view last week and it was good but noisy. And with the pool closed for rehab, I figured I sure didn't want that view in Jan!!! Glad I waitlisted for a boardwalk view...now, my 31 y/o dd's first trip to WDW is going to be perfect!!!

I was told by DVC that you couldn't waitlist for a particular view at the BW! I better call on Monday and talk to someone else about this.Thank you

Called and anotherDVC operator let me change my waitlist request at the BW. I can't believe the first CRO was so insistent that I couldn't. Thanks for the information

There is still hope for my Jan 23-30 waitlist for AKV. We are planning a more relaxing trip this time and I really hope it comes through.

Got my waitlist too - OKW 29th January for 3 nights I already had the weekend booked for cash and the following week on points and I was really surprised when I tried to extend the booking about 4 weeks ago and found that I couldn't.

Note to self: because my favorite resort is large, and I'm booking for the end of January, do not assume it will be easy to book just a few months out
