Woo hoo! Going to WDW!

I just learned about this board, it's fantastic. My husband and I are heading to Disney on Jan. 17 for the 3v3 soccer tournament at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex (a few of the kids he coaches will be playing in it). We're spending 2 nights at Pop Culture, then we head to the Grand Floridian on Jan. 19-22. We are really lucky - the hotel stay is a Christmas gift from my parents, and the flight is an anniversary gift from them for our past anniversary (Jan. 3, 2008).

I just had to post about how excited we are. DH hasn't been to Disney since they opened Space Mountain (lol, old man) - and then he was too small to ride it, though his sister was old enough (and tormented him the whole trip about it), and I haven't been in about 8 years with my family!

Any insight on our trip - Jan. 17-22? I'll be searching for Pop Culture Resort info shortly. It's just the two of us, no kids yet.

Congratulations! You will have a great time. The crowds shouldn't be bad because of the time of year; however, you are going over Martin Luther King holiday so it will be crowded so try to save your MK visit for after that Monday. Just let the child in you come out and play and the magic begins!

Thanks everyone. We figure we'll visit the parks starting that Monday afternoon - the kids will be finished with their tournament by then and we may go with their families for the first visit. Wahoo - DISNEY!
