Woo Hoo! DS Got a job!

DS#1 Graduated from college a few months ago. He wasn't in the best frame of mind at the time. He's been a boomerang kid for that time. His job search was done with all the efficiency of the very comfortable. Sigh. Well he just learned he got a job and is preparing to move to California - and out of my house!! . LOL! DW has been privately saying for month how he needs to get out of the house. Let's see how she feels about it when the moving van comes.

LOL. He just called to tell me what is salary will be. He was giddy until I had him do a cost of living comparison. He'll be fine, but I could hear the dollar signs in his eyes. So all you single ladies in the Sacramento area, there's an eligible engineer coming to town - catch him before he spends all his money......

I LIVE IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA!!! but i'm an "old happily married lady" tell him to realy look around re. housing/renting, the areas vary greatly in price (still insanely high no matter where) and safety. depending on where he's going to work he may do well to check out some of the outlying communities that are situated such that they don't suffer from heavy commute traffic into sacto.
