Woo Hoo!!!!!!!! :cool1: Just booked great airfare for my May trip! I just LOVE getting something booked and paid for, makes the trip seem "real" and much closer!!!!!!!!! :cool1: I normally don't start looking for airfare til 3-4 months out, but just for the heck of it, I checked Continental's website today and I almost fell off my chair, $159 roundtrip! :cool1: I paid $220 last year!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! One step closer! --
165 More Days!

:thumbsup2

Good for you!! Cheap airfare is such a fun thing!! Have an awesome trip...and a fun time planning it!!

I know what you mean! I just added a day to our upcoming trip yesterday, and was able to get a good price on the ticket change and also another day at POFQ! I was also excited to get ADRs at Le Cellier, which has always been completely booked on other trips. I'm hoping it's a good sign that the parks will be less crowded. :thumbsup2

I found an awesome flight (great price and times) for our trip in September unfortunately we don't have the funds just yet (we are working on it). I am so hoping it stays the same or similar until we can book it (wishful thinking I know).

$163 for us thanks to the Airtran price war they waged! Certainly the lowest I've paid in my WDW traveling history. We actually based our impromptu trip entirely based around that cheap airfare.

I just booked our flights for our trip next spring! $468 total (including taxes and fees) for 4 of us round trip! That's $117 round trip per person!

We were originally going to drive (it would take 2 days), but after this last trip decided that we didn't like the idea of driving that long after our vacation. Too much work after working so hard to relax!!

The plan is for me to get our airfare next week for our May trip. I know I'll be doing the same dance you are right now once I have my eticket confirmation #'s :) Grats on the cheap airfare!

Wow! $117!!!! That's awesome! :thumbsup2
I think I would have stayed another night if I could have gotten that price!

Where are you flying from?

Anyone know if the lower fares right now due to some sort of price war?

We actually did add another night to the begining of the trip (did that a couple of weeks ago)!

We are flying out of Kansas City on Southwest. It's a bit of a drive for us to go to that airport, but it's WAY less expensive than flying out of Wichita - plus they are direct flights which we no longer have in Wichita (a plus when flying with small children)!!

Hey, us too!! We're in the $468 club! LOL Sounds like we had very similar experiences...Wasn't really looking at KC at first, but they beat the closer airports by a grand. Added an extra night onto our stay so we could get the $49 flight back. We are soooo pumped! It will be a drive for us too, but even so, with the direct flights we're probably going to be 'traveling' the same amount of time vs. the layover flights we were looking at from Tulsa.

When are you going? Maybe we'll see each other. :chat:

We are leaving April 21st and flying home May 5th. From the looks of your ticker you are about a month ahead of us!

Yeah, after I posted I saw your ticker...LOL Have you flown out of KC before? Where's the best long term parking? Good airport for hanging out in? (Gotta find a way to keep DD9 and DS6 occupied til the flight leaves.)

We've never flown out of KC before, so I really don't know anything about the airport itself. I know what you mean about occupying the kiddos! Mine are always bouncing off the walls when we are getting ready to GO somewhere. Thankfully when it is time to come home they always seem to sleep through it all (mommy and daddy get to rest too this way)!

Our flight leaves early in the morning so we are planning on staying the night prior in a hotel that will let us park the car for the time that we are gone.

We also were able to get that great airfair from KC. :cool1: We usually fly from Wichita, but the prices there were crazy. We usually fly Airtran from ICT but could not pass up the $117 per person tickets on Southwest. We also are going to KC the night before since it is about a 4-5 hour trip from our house to the airport. We are staying at the Four Points Sheraton which is just a few minutes from the airport. We are paying $105 for the room and 13 days of parking. We spent almost that much on parking alone last time we flew from Kansas City (about 3 years ago) so it will be worth it. The hotel also has a 24 hour a day shuttle to the airport which will be nice since we will be needing to head to the airport about 5 AM. I also can't wait because the flight is non stop and with 3 boys 7,5,2 that will be a blessing. Although we were getting quite good at the changing plane thing since we flew down there 2 times last year!!
Well have fun on your trips I can't wait for ours :yay:

I booked southwest out of buffalo- $271 roundtrip (nonstop!!) for the two of us- not that is some saving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
