Woo Hoo - booked! Anyone stayed here?

We are heading out for 2 weeks in December. For most of the trip we will be staying at Westgate Lakes resort up Turkey Lake Road (about a mile south from the Sand Lake rd intersection). Anyone ever stayed there? We have traded in there from another timeshare. For 3 nights in the middle we are heading to Royal Pacific at Universal to finally see Harry Potter etc. Must be 20 years since we went to Universal last.

And thanks to Nemmie posting about the BA sale we have upgraded to Club Class - luxury!

Do you mean turkey lake road? if you do we stayed here a few years ago and loved the location, we have stayed at a few of the westgate resorts and this is our favourite and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Its really close to Lake Buena Vista and this is our fav area to stay outside of disney. The rooms are huge and are typical westgate style, we honestly had nothing bad to say about this place.

Stayed here a few times (see my sig) staying again in Oct for 9 days.

I think its a brilliant location, sea world directly across road (freeway) universal 5min drive, Florida mall 10 min drive.

Rooms are updated on a schedule so hopefully get one of more modern ones as some do look dated but still great quality. Won't find a bigger room for price IMO.

At check in make it clear you don't want the "free" breakfast as they push the timeshare sales on people. Not once been on one, won't be attending this year either.

Thanks - yes, my typing wonky on road name! I think we will avoid any timeshare sales opportunities like the plague - thanks for the warning! Nice to know others have stayed there.
