Wonky, Wonky Weird FP+ reservations

I have had the strangest thing happen with my FP reservations tonight. I have my 3 original FP's listed in my itinerary and all guests are listed, but then I have weird extra FP times reserved that I didn't even book. Talk about a glitch.

Literally I have a 9:20-10:20 for all 3 guests, a 10:20-11:20 for all 3 guests, then one guest has a 10:45-11:45 FOR THE SAME RIDE as the 10:20 (I didn't even book this), an 11:20-12:20 for all 3 guests, then a 12:30-1:30 FOR THE SAME ride as the 11:20 but just for 2 guests. How is the system even letting us have more than 3 reservations? They're all showing up on the MDE though

I've gone back in and switched times around and the weird bonus glitchy reservations aren't going away. The rest of the week's reservations are all normal.

I'm just hoping when the glitch is fixed (if at all) the intended reservations aren't lost or mixed up.

Anyone ever had something similarly wacky happen?

where are you staying?
someone just posted in the last day or two that they are staying at wilderness lodge in december and due to construction they got 2 extra FP+ selections for each day and they do not actually have to be scheduled for a certain ride or certain time. (but tiers did apply)

I had it do this with a dining reservation a couple of days ago. It gave me two, with completely different confirmation numbers and everything. I canceled the extra and it did keep the one I wanted, you might have to try the same thing. Unless you want to do those twice and take chance that it works!

I had similar "weirdness" on the night I booked my original FP+. At first nothing showed up, then one or two on several days, then extras, etc. FYI - Everything looked fine under the FP+ pages, but itinerary was a disaster. Of course I was panicking, but after an hour or so everything straightened itself out.

When you go into the change screens, are the extra FPs in there too?

Nope, they weren't on the change screens and it's not like they were useful bonus passes
(with overlapping times, for the same rides we already have FP for and splitting up the party -see photo) It wouldn't let me cancel them....they were just stuck there on the itinerary. I went back in and logged in this morning and it looks like the glitch was fixed and luckily it kept the schedule the way we wanted. Very strange how the system allowed that to happen like that though.

That's really weird. Yeah, if they weren't on your change screens then they were never real. Glad it cleaned up your schedule without messing anything up!
