Wonder's Panama Canal Repo 2011 - AND WE'RE NOT BRINGING IT BACK!

Oh heck yeah!:woohoo: We were on the WB08 and it was amazing! This gives me that hopeful, looking-forward feeling that waiting for the last one gave me! Now to convince DH he *can* take two weeks off from work again!:rolleyes:

I hope they change Acapulco for somewhere else as not many people really enjoyed that stop last May.

Remember people and children were outside and shouting for Mickey Mouse and it was sad... I am not sure about Acapulco but I liked Cabo and PV...

I have moved this thread to the meets thread since it really does qualify as a trip planning thread. I believe this one sets the record for the earliest meet thread started before the official cruise was announced though. We only have another 7 months before we know the official date though. :)
:rotfl2::rotfl2: I will be the first person to admit that I am an early planner. Apparently, quite early!! :rotfl2: Even DH gives me an eyeroll when I start talking about this. :rolleyes:

AMEN! I wouldn't even bother getting off the ship again. We were part of a group that got their excursion money refunded after leaving LaRoqueta early, four passengers to a VW buggy taxi. Made for an interesting adventure, though!:lmao:

I thought it was really nice that they brought the characters around to wave to the crowd. I :love: Disney!

If the date doesn't hit during my budget season at work I plan on going, so I'm hoping for an April/May date.

I would love the opportunity to cruise through the Panama Canal. Hopefully it will be during a time of year that we can go!

I am totally with you! I've already started thinking about what to bring for a cruise that hasn't been announced for an unknown date that I'm just hoping to be on!

Got everything that can cross crossed in hopes of being on the Wonder WB repo in 2011! Mar 2009

OK, I think you win!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

First to update their sig with the not yet announced repo cruise on it.!

Now do we have to give our not yet announced cruise a name???
:laughing::laughing::laughing:

Well, since this cruise isn't actually announced yet either, I think the Alaska Cruise Meet thread is a LITTLE further in advance ;) :rotfl2:

Two here ready and waiting!!!:banana:

Hi Marilyn, Bubba and I are seriously thinking about doing it again.
I hope they change Acapulco for somewhere else as not many people really enjoyed that stop last May.
I second this. I would just stay on the ship

We also got a portion of our excursion refunded as the tour co held us semi hostage in a store at the cliff divers. Not fun.

Wow, we just got lucky, I guess! We hired a private taxi to take us on a tour. Went to the Cliff Divers and all over the place and just had a great time! But once would be enough for us. I would hope they'd make different stops next time. I'd especially love a couple more stops on the gulf side.

Depending when it sails and the price tag - count us in.

Boy, how DH and DS (13 at time of sailing) will be surprised...

That is right, it will be her first trip through the PC. :) I would like to take at least one cruise on the Wonder and a 14/15 day would be long enough to make that worth our while. ;)
As I read the title of this thread and started reading the thread- this is exactly what I was thinking.
ESPECIALLY if the new ship is going to be doing shorter 3/4nt cruises- since although we want to be on the new ship... I'm not willing to cruise those short cruises just to be on the new ship! So an alternative would be a longer cruise on "technically" a new ship for us- since we've never cruised on the Wonder!
We'll have to wait and see when it is and if we can afford to do the TA and then just a few months later the PC repo to take the Wonder on the repo. Depends on what it ends up $$.
