Wonder's Panama Canal Repo 2011 - AND WE'RE NOT BRINGING IT BACK!

Thanks for the reminder Kaz. I just sent Marla at DU the same request.

It will be so great for you and Richard to sail the PC with us. I hope it all works out. Either way, at least we'll have Tortola.

Hey Deb!!! Poor old Richard isn't invited  coz we're thinking this trip will be a Girls Only event for DD Sophie and myself!!! :bride: princess: :flower3: :cutie:

Just wanted to add that I am sooo committed to this cruise, I have added the details to my signature!!! It has to happen now... :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I have a request to put out:

If anyone has 18 points for OKW to rent for a very wonderful woman at school I'd appreciate it. She and her family could never afford to go to WDW, but she was given a 2 day vacation (from another auction winner.) They are really stretching their budget to pay for a family of 5 to go for 2 days to WDW, but they are so excited. I'd love to give them points to stay at OKW for 2 extra days. It seems silly to fly that far for 2 days. She works in the development dept. and they are a great family w/an adopted autistic child. She spends all her time fund raising for others, so I'd like to help her out by extending her vacation by a couple of days at a great location on 11/23 & 11/24/09. If any of you know anyone who can rent (at a very good rate) please let me know. Thanks, Kelly

Wow, never been on three cruise threads before....takes a whole night just to get caught up....

Nancy had a great idea on what to do before the cruise.....let's all do Harry Potter first.....hopefully the crush will be over.....I know...dreaming in technicolour.......but hopefully.....

Whatcha think???

Okay pahrumpgirl! If I can bump us up to page one while having my house guests (you!!!LOL!) you can do your part too!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

A few weeks ago I'd faxed in a request to get on the waitlist for this cruise. After I'd done that, there was some discussion that they were going back to no longer accepting waitlist requests for non-suites. (We'd requested Cat 6's.)

Well, we received a postcard from DCL today saying they'd received our request and had put us on the waitlist! Time will tell if they end up honoring those requests, but it was nice to know that our request was acknowledged and not automatically trashed.

HAHA I "WONDER"ED if tere was a thread about this repo yet... I should have known better!

Well I have fax's disney a hold, but think I should email Tracy at DU to place me a hold also. Already told dh and he said he is ready! Hopefully it wont be when the boys are in school (or at least a time that we can take them out and its not missing a large chunk, or or test LOL), thats a reason why we didnt do the Trans repo's.

Now to sit and wait.. oh and to go back and read through the last 33pages. :)

BTW Im Drea, married to a marine, mom of 2 boys. Were not Disney addicts... well we werent that is until we did a DOUBLE DIP Sept 2008. Now were hooked on the mouse! :)

I hate to be the person to tell you this, but unfortunately all repositioning (and this is going to be a big one) cruises are in April, May or September. It is rare that they are during prime season. We always cruised in May until our child went to Kindergarten this year. :sad1:

We got our postcard too! And I requested 2 Cat 6 staterooms with one being a HCA one. I really hope they honor this waitlist. We need a finger crossing smilie. :goodvibes

Andrew, who normally posts onthe regular cruise board, has figured out that due to commitment issues with the Port of Los Angeles that the boat will need to move before April. Apparently they have committed to 30 cruises out of LA for 2011. I think that was the number but there is a long thread on it on the main board. I'm sure it's fallen way back but it's there somewhere. He had the logic all thought out. Just my 2 cents. I'm on the boat no matter when it sails. I send my DD to Catholic school for a reason. There is no "excused" or "unexcused" absence issue. :goodvibes

This is the thread, I think... Andrew is very good at working this stuff out :worship: - he was correct about the Magic doing the Baltic cruises for 2010 ages before it was confirmed... As long as I'm back before May (actually the earlier the better I guess) when I have my Uni final exams, my daughter and I will be on the Wonder...

Happy Memorial Day everyone! And for those who are serving, have served, or has a loved one in the Armed forces.....:thanks:

Thank You!

Giving us a little Tuesday morning *bump* ...

Decided to cover all bases and fax an Inventory Control request to DCL after all... :surfweb: Probably a little on the late side but it can't hurt and I really want us to be on this cruise!!!

DD has only ever sailed on the Wonder - she persuaded me to do our first 3 night cruise back in May 2005 and we were on a 4 night Double Dip in May 2008... :lovestruc

You're not that far behind me. I faxed IC on April 17th. I got my card stating that it had been received just last week.
