Hopefully we won't be doing that again. NO LINKING DINNER TABLES UNTIL AFTER BOOKING PALO, EXCURSIONS AND SPAS.

Did you EB Pirates have the same problems with the fishes that us WB Thieves had when the 90 day window opened??? Ours was a disaster. They told us that it was because we were already linked for dinner and all trying to get on at the same time. The site kept locking up. I was online booking from midnight until 6:30am. I did get everything that I wanted though. Many many others did not.

I wonder how the pricing will work out this time. I thought the EB was way underpriced, we had 2 adults, 2 kids in cat 10 for under $6,000 (no ins, no trans). That plays out to $100 per person per day in my version of Mickey math, which is downright cheap for lodging and 4-5 meals a day. The TA, which they have a much harder time filling, were almost free by the time they sailed last time.

But the EB was in summer, school not in session for a lot of passengers.

A lot more cabins opened up at 90 days for the WB than did for the EB.

It ended up being just about $100 per person per day for me & my son for the WB too. Truly unbelievable! I'm hoping for prices like that again!

btw, John still smokes. He's back smoking for one year now. I'm still not smoking. I never cheated even once and it's over a year. I'm so happy that I didn't start back after John restarted. It's a lot easier now. I don't even think about it. You were so good to help me get here. Many thanks again.

That was such a horrible night for me because that's the day Tyler's dad had taken him to the E.R. for high fever and we found out he had the flu, he was up all night halucinating with his fever and throwing up. Our first experience with throwing up. Yuck! I hope that never happens again! He hasn't been since since then though, not even a cold, except for strep throat, but he only felt sore one day from that.

Thanks Holly.....I sure hope so.....but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon. He started out only smoking 3-4 a day one year ago when he picked it back up. Now he's up to about a pack a day. In another year from now he will probably be at around two packs a day. He'll start thinking about quitting again when he starts smoking very heavily again. It could take some more time.

Oh, gee, thanks, Ken! Now I'm going to have nightmares! That was the worst night ever. David was so mad at me because I wouldn't just give up and go to bed. But I was on a mission! It was SO frustrating! And our table wasn't linked with anyone else's. UGH!

I am so proud of you! It's been 12 years for me. WOW! The time has flown.

BTW, for the person who asked earlier, our deposit was $500pp. My dh about had a heart attack when that 2k hit the credit card at the same time as the "extras" from the 7-day cruise, but by the time the cruise actually came along he was SO glad I had taken the leap!

Remember for those with the Disney Visa, cruise deposits, final payments and on board charges are payment/interest free for 6 months and don't impact your balance if you pay rest each month.

John and I are going to try and book this one directly with DCL online. I want to pick out my stateroom 5122. I don't want to be in a lifeboat! DCL usually charges a couple of hundred more than DU, but I'm going to go for it so that I can hopefully lock in a room. Then I'll transfer it to DU to get the onboard credit. I hope it all works out and I can get my stateroom.

Good luck with getting the room, not sure that many on the EB got specific rooms without going through a TA.

I found the DCL and DU prices to be the same, but you got the OBC with DU. Disney doesn't need to charge more since they don't pay commission when you book direct.

Based on your experience (thanks guinea pig Thieves), we didn't link till after the 90 day (although our the people in charge of linking had been talking to them before that).

However, the system totally locked up and people had all kinds of problems (although a few got all they wanted).

I can't quite get my mind there yet. We've always gone on trips together. This Summer Alison has this choir festival in Hawaii and I'm going as a chaperone. I was fine until I had to book an extra day because we're leaving a day later than the rest of the choir. As soon as I booked the hotel, I realized I want David & Erik there too, so now I'm trying to figure out how to do a DVC point exchange or something so they can come along for the second week!

This seems so ironic from a woman who never wanted kids for the first 30 years of her life!
