I haven't seen a lot about this on the disboards and just wanted to let you know it was great!! My dd (4) just did this today and has not stopped talking about it for 2 hours. I think she enjoyed this more than the Princess Tea Party last year and that was $200 more

We checked in at the desk about 1:15 for the party at 1:30 and paid at that time. If you did not have a cell phone, they gave you a pager and had you fill out a form to sign. The girls were ushered in promply at 1:30 and the parents were allowed to get them settled in their seats then they shooed us out for an hour :) I would say a little less than half the girls had on princess costumes. I brought dd's just in case she was the only one, but we did not change into it. Also, I did not see any boys at this party. The table was decorated so cute. DD said that Alice and the Mad Hatter played some games with them, including having the girls throw grapes at him. DD said she did not throw hers because she wanted to eat them
They fed them ham sandwiches, pb and J sandwiches, grapes, tea (apple juice) and a cupcake that each party guest got to decorate. They also gave each guest a picture in a folder of themselves with Alice and the Mad Hatter.

When it is time to pick up your child, you just come back with your receipt. Be ready with your camera or video camera when they open the doors! It was SO cute, but I won't spoil it for you.

DD really loved it and it was definitley worth $30. Now we are off to our first MNSSHP, we can't wait.:woohoo:

Glad your DD enjoyed it. DD also loved it much more than the princess tea party that I spent all that money for. I think it helps that the kids are left alone without their parents pushing them like we experienced at the princess tea party. They seemed to forget we all paid over $200 for the party!

Thanks for sharing your experience. We had cancelled our reservation for January because I didn't want to be too overplanned, but I think I might rebook, my DD would love it!

I have to agree that the Wonderland party is great! DH went golfing that day and I was able to take a book & just relax on the porch of the GF for an hour. It was wonderful for all of us.

Also, we took DD to Germany and had a German doll made that looks like her. We dressed her in an Alice dress & it is too cute! So, if you want to spend the $150-200 elsewhere, check out Germany.

We have a few pictures from this event on our website. Click on the link my signature and look at the pictures from our "September 2006" trip. The tea party pics are about half-way through.

They let you in to get your child settled and snap a few pictures and then you have to go. For my 3 year old son, this was absolutely the highlight of his trip! (The age requirement has been uppped to four in the past year, but was three at the time he participated.)

YES!! We have this booked for 2 DDs in December DD#2 is being Alice for Halloween and is planning on wearing her dress for the Tea Party too --they are super excited!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Wonderland Tea Party. We are scheduled to do it the first week of December and my DD is also planning to dress up like Alice. It is going to be so much fun for her!! I am excited for her!!

I can't find the link with your pics...I wonder if I can get a reservation for this now for our trip at the end of November?

I removed the link because we are changing some things around. Sorry!

Here are the pics I have from the Wonderland Tea Party. Like I said, they just let you in to get the kids settled and snap a few quick pics, and then they kick you out!

Yeah, they moved it up to 4 sometime in the fall of 2006, to bring it in line with the age requirements at the other children's activities.
