Wonderland Tea Party for a boy?

DD6 did this last year and loved it. There were 8 kids in the group, all girls age 4-7. We are going again this year for DS 4th birthday. DD wants to do the tea party again and thinks DS would like it too.

Anybody have a son/know a boy who did this? I want him to have fun, but already at 3 he refuses to do certain "girl" things.

DS5 did the afternoon tea at GF (not the wonderland tea party, no princesses, and 1/20th the price)

As you can see I didn't make him dress up and he took little star wars people to play with in case he was done sipping before the rest of us. Me and the CM's all breathed a sigh of relief and noted that we were able to leave without one piece of broken china.

My son, now six, has done it twice...once at age 4 and once at age 5. He loved it both times and wasn't the only boy on either occasion, although there were more girls than boys. He's asked to go back when we're there again. The Mad Hatter is there and they play lots of silly games. He had a blast!

My ds did it a few times with my dds. He loved it because he loved the Mad Hatter. He wasn't the only boy there either.

We have reservations for 5 girls to attend in February. The youngest will be one month shy of her 4th birthday. She is completely potty trained and well used to be being with her "bigger buddies" and away from her mom. Should this pose a problem? I know it is listed for ages 4 and up.

Thanks so much everyone - especially GEM for the pics - your son is too cute. I think I will go ahead and register DS, it seems like something he'll enjoy.

And closetmickey, I can't see it being a problem. A month surely won't make that much difference. Especially if she will be there with other children she knows.
