Wondering if excurison is worth the cost

I have a Disney excursion planned for Puerto Rico Bacardi Rum and Distillery Tour - Adult Only Departure (SJ55) that is $45 a person. The excursion is only 2 hours long and I'm not sure if it's worth the cost.

I haven't been personally but I heard from my boss this was a great tour.

We have done this one but with the kids. They really don't show you much there. They first take you to a building and tell you the family history, this is all sitting in chairs with some lecturing . Then they take you over to a building where you can see the large tanks and pipes but don't really see anyone there are barrels and pictures on the wall telling you how it all works.

Then of course at the end you get dumped in there gift shop. We got t shirts and a bottle of aged rum with our family name engraved on it. They do it right there in front of you . After that you go to there outside shelter where there is a bar sit up and you get a free drink, or fruit punch if you want. This comes in a nice plastic tall glass that you get to keep.

My son 18 at the time thought the gift show was the greatest...lol We also go to see some of Puerto Rico on the bus ride over and the bus driver was very informative. I think our excursion also went to a fort there too.

All told, I enjoyed it. The bus ride is just long enough to see some sights, the grounds are really pretty with a GREAT view of the harbor, the tour was fun (just a couple of rooms, not the working factory), the presentations on the tour were great. The area for the free rum drinks was very pleasant and relaxing. If it appeals to you, I'd say yes. A moderate exercise tour (some walking) with a number of interesting sights. Fun once.
