Greetings All,

To all of those of you I had the privileged to meet on the cruise, thanks for a great time. There are so many new friends from the cruise, touring the parks, and Drinking Around The World. After the cruise I spent a few days at the parks and then headed back to California.
Sparing you all the gory details I ended up with walking pneumonia and I am just today getting back on my feet. When I say this knocked me for a loop, it was really bad. One funny question the Dr asked was have you been in contact with others? Not really, just 2000 or so people on the ship for four days, three days in the theme parks, and 2 days in planes traveling From California to Florida and back. Wonder where I cold have picked this up? Just made me giggle.
So to those of you that have sent me PM’s and wondered why I did not reply, it is really simple, I have been out for the count. I am working ion them now.
Glad to be back on the boards and have tons of reading to catch up on.

Hi Dinner Mate Don!

I'm glad you're feeling better. Before the cruise I had laryngitis, I really wasn't over it when we flew down which resulted in "airplane ear". I sort of got over it on the ship, but it really flared up on the trip home. So much so that I still have it. I just started a prednisone regiment so hopefully that will do the job. It's so annoying, to say the least. We've now been home 12 days and it continues.....


So I wonder which of those many others passed along their virus to you! My nephew was in this hospital with pneumonia too (he wasn't on the trip and he lives on Long Island so we can't blame him).

Hope everyone feels better soon!
