Wonder - November 9, 2013 - Bahamas from Galveston

We are also going on the November 9th sailing out of Galveston! I have two girls, 8 and the other will have just turned three. We sailed in march and loved it so much we wanted to sail again before they left Galveston. I am interested in doing a fish extender this time. Is there a group already started for his?

I am just posting to say that due to circumstances beyond my control, my family and I are not going to be able to make this cruise. Our hearts are saddened, but optimistic that we will see you again on a different cruise in the future. Loved chatting with you all and I hope that you all have a safe trip and return with wonderful memories

Ok folks we hit the 100 day mark!!!!!
99 days 19hours 4 mins until cruise day.

I just got an email EZ cruise Parking in Galveston. They sent me a $10.00 dollar off code for parking at the cruise terminal. The code is August. We have parked here for all our Disney Cruises out of Galveston. It is not covered parking but it is right across from the terminal and they run several shuttles.
Just an FYI. Sherry:cool1::yay:

Tempting....I already have port of galveston parking booked. Going to need to think about this one

We used EZ cruise for our last Disney Cruise out of Galveston last October. They were awesome! The bus is nice and the guys helped us with our luggage. Great price too. Highly recommend them :-) The only con - and it would probably happen anywhere - is that our car was pretty dusty when we returned. We park it in the garage normally but I bet it would be the same parked outside in my driveway too....

I agree about Ez Parking lot being dusty. The one we have parked in is not paved. That create a lot of the dust. I think there is covered parking not too far away. Sherry:banana:

Would anyone who has booked a Cabana be willing to share? We will be happy to split the the cost.It is just my husband and I.

We will be heading out on this cruise. My Mother in law is a little worried about the weather. She thinks it will be to cold to swim. I have looked and it looks like it should be ok has anyone cruised or been to the bahamas in early november

This is from another board topic post : "We sailed last November the first week and had GORGEOUS weather in CC. We ran the 5K and were overly warm during, the water felt GREAT after. Would gladly sail that week again!

We have sailed 4 times in December and each time Castaway Cay was beautiful, the weather was perfect and we snorkeled all day :) I think it was in the 80's each visit.

If you plan on swimming in the pools on the ship, They try to keep the pools temperature at 88 degrees. I have always loved swimming in the adult pool onboard. Sherry:cheer2:

Hello All,

I have enjoyed reading through your threads and reading all of the excitement about the cruise...

This will be our first Disney cruise and I think I am more excited about it than any of the other cruises I've been on! It will be myself, my husband, and my 2 year old twins (son and daughter). We are actually boarding the ship on their birthday and I am ridiculously excited! (Although then I catch myself screaming "NO, quit growing" haha)

I would love to join the FE, I'll send my info to Dana. (Thanks for organizing by the way!)

Anyways, I am excited to meet you all here and on the cruise. I should go join the FB page now!

Oh, and if I do something stupid on this forum, sorry...this is my first time reading and joining a forum. :)

Hi AndiH. I am glad you are so excited. Disney Cruise has never let me down. I can't tell how exciting it is to be getting on an elevator and have Mickey getting off! It is so much fun. Look at your Navigator ( ships activity guide). Every night to see the next days activities. They even have where the characters are going to be for picture opportunities . Sherry pirate:

Today is my day to check in and I was asleep at midnight. But I did wake up at 4:30 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I registered and got the 11:00 to 11:30 boarding time so we will be on the boat early. I checked out all the excursions and will probably sign my husband up for the scuba diving in Nassau. What I did not find was a way to go swimming in the lagoons at Atlantis. Anyone know how to get into their pools and water areas? pirate: Sherry

There isn't any tendering needed on this cruise, is there? All docking, correct? Am on Deck One and just wondering about "busy-ness" from that. What deck do we enter on in Galveston?

(I'm probably just asking partly to see my "trip counter" below -- 3 months, eh?)
