Wonder - November 9, 2013 - Bahamas from Galveston

Hi Dana
I just sent you a reply to the pm.We would love to join the FE if it is not too late.
So excited about this big group. My husband and I cant wait. We woo be celebrating my Bday and Anniversary.

I got your info! We are very excited also :)

My children and I would like to sign up for the FE, however, we are not sure if we might have to move the cruise date for another time or not. We are hoping that we can make it, but we just aren't for sure yet. :confused3
We had a blast doing the FE on our last cruise a couple months ago, and so if we can participate, we will. :thumbsup2 Can the person in charge of the FE message me the info, just in case I forget. Thanks :hippie:

Do you know when y'all will be deciding on the date? If you want, I can go ahead and put you on our list an if you change your date, just let me know. I have read from other posts that most groups don't close their group until a month or two from the sail date so if you want to wait a while before adding to the fe group that would be fine as well :)

Just to get a group census...... I have read that most groups have a cut off date on adding new people to the fe group. From what I have read, it looks like most do a cut off about a month or two before the sail date. If you have been in an fe group before, how long did y'all leave your group open? I want to make sure that everyone has plenty of time to get everything together.

Thanks
Dana

Most of the time the D=domestic

ie= Domestic Husband (DH)
Domestic Daughter (DD)

and so on. I really have no idea who decided everyone was DOMESTIC, it cracks me up. I had to learn this jargon, too, when I started posting for a cruise in 2008. There are still a few here and there that I have to "google"! Welcome~

Haha, thanks! I was thinking maybe it was Disney Daughter, Disney Husband, and so on....at least I had the last part right :) Thanks for responding!

Hi everyone! We'll be joining you on this sailing too and we can't wait!
I'll PM you, Dana, as we always love participating in the FE!

My family is :
me, DH, DD (7) and DS (5)

Looking forward to getting to know you all before we set sail this fall!

The "D" would be very cute if it stood for Disney!!

** FE Update ***

So far, I have down 9 families - 17 adults and 12 children

Our list is growing :)

If you have not sent me your email address, please message it to me or email it to me at dgay@dlinc.net when you get time. I have our group on a spreadsheet and will email it out so that everyone can check their information.

Hello! We just got off the Magic Saturday in Galveston and booked this cruise. This will be our 8th Disney cruise and we are finally taking my parents with us.:cool1: I am super duper excited to show them just how amazing Disney Cruises are! We would like to join the FE (so much fun!). It will be myself, DH and 5 year old son and my parents. Its been only a couple of days and I am still feeling the sway from the ship. ;) If anyone has questions I'd be happy to answer, last week's cruise had a lot of first time cruisers so I've got lots of tips and info. :thumbsup2

Hi we are going on this cruise this November. This is our first Disney cruise and I have a few question.

How are the pools on the Wonder that time of year? We are bringing our 6 year old daughter and she loves to swim! I was wondering if the water would be to cold. The pools are heated and it depends really more on how windy it is. We have always swam during our October/November cruises and our almost 5 year old fish will be in the pool.

Traveling during the school year, does there seem to still be plenty of children on the ship? My 6 year old loves to play with other kids and I wasn't sure how many kids are usually on the ship during school. Definitely less kids then when there is a "kids sail free promo" but yes there will be lots of kids!

Last question, I am booking our trip this week but I am undecided on which room I need to choose. I originally thought about a room on the 8th deck with a veranda. Then I thought maybe the 5th deck closer to the kids activities just in case my daughter wants to go there while I am getting ready for stuff. I am thought maybe I should just get an ocean view room instead of the veranda just in case my daughter gets out there without me noticing plus I really don't anticipate spending a lot of time in our room. We prefer deck 5 because it is very quiet, less rooms on that floor and really close to the kids clubs and theater. We just left room 5640 on Saturday it was perfect.

Thanks so much for any advice that you might have!! Over the last 2 years I have lost 91 lbs and this is my reward to myself :) I chose to go on a disney cruise because it seemed to offer so much for kids that will allow me to have plenty of time to myself and have some quality time with my husband!
You will love it! That is why we've sailed with Disney since 2001. The best vacations!

We just booked this cruise today. We were booked on the Fantasy, but since the Wonder is in TX we could not justify flying to FL. We also just got off the Magic last Saturday. I have loved having DCL in Texas, I am going to miss them when they are gone. Then it will be back to flying!

It will be my family DH, DS (11), DD (9) and me. This will be my 5th my DH 4th, DS and DD 3rd DCL Cruise. We are brining my in-laws along this will be their 1st DCL Cruise.

We are very excited and really want to do the FE. We love doing those!

I tried the link to Facebook and it took me to a October cruise. Is there one for Nov. 9th?

Wow, went away for a couple of weeks and we've GROWN!! :cool1:

Myself (Susan, 35), my DH (Clint, 36) and our DD (Eden who will be just shy of 4 in November).
My MIL, FIL
My DH's brother and his wife.
Hoping this will be a great vacay for our extended family and a fairly stress-free way to introduce our little girl to the world of Disney!

Welcome, Susan & family! You and your family will absolutely love this cruise. The ship, itself, is a destination. Since our DS napped on our last 2 sailings, the only place we disembarked was Castaway Cay, and we were all duly entertained and had an incredible time!

We'll be on this cruise!!
It will be DD (9) and myself, and it's going to be our first cruise EVER! We are so very excited!! :D

Welcome, Annaruth674!! You couldn't picked a better cruise for your 1st. :thumbsup2

Ha! Here I thought it mean "Darling" the whole time. :rotfl: I work in IT, so it's always offshore versus domestic. Anyone have a OH (offshore hubby)? :rotfl2:

The last 2 cruises we were on had about a 1.5-2 month cutoff date, but there were still many who joined at the last minute. What we did was for those who wanted to join after the cutoff date, it was optional for folks to give them a gift. OR, in the case where gifts were especially made, that we were able to give different gifts than the rest.

Hi everyone! We'll be joining you on this sailing too and we can't wait!
