We would like to do the couple's choice (spa villa) during our Alaska cruise in July. I was first thinking it would be lovely to do it during the morning of our Hubbard Glacier day . . . hot tub and beautiful views, but then I started thinking about the weather . . . ice cold! Does anyone else have experience with the spa villas during really cold weather . . . Alaska, Northern Europe, etc.? If so, please tell me whether this is a good or bad idea to do this. Thank you!

I actually did the spa villa on my Alaska cruise on the day we saw the glacier and it was amazing. So for the time you're in the hot tub you're fine, and the other times if you're just chilling on the veranda, the robe kept me plenty warm. The verandas are slightly enclosed so you're not completely exposed to the elements.

I also did the Villa while in Alaska. They keep it warm and the view was beautiful! Go for it!:)

Agree with the above. It was comfortable and very scenic. Just be aware that you are almost within eyesight of the shore - sometimes pretty close where someone could possibly see you
