Wonder - January 21, 2011 The Cruise To Nowhere In Particular..

GRRRRR - okay, I emailed artwork to Reminderband and they said they would not do it because it contained copyrighted font (the Walt Disney font) and icon (the Mickey head).

So starting over from scratch - I'm going to find at least someone who can do the Waltograph font. Not sure we will be able to get the Mickey head.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to write on the bracelets? I'm limited to 25 characters/spaces per side. I wanted to include something about the Dis, the name of the cruise, the ship and the dates... and of course, that's way too much!

Pre-cruise hotel booked - CHECK! Got the Crowne Plaza on Priceline for $65 plus fees... ($82).

Going to work on finalizing the wristband order this week, so I'll post an update when we're ready to roll with the payments, etc.

Nice Job on the Crowne Plaza!

We just returned from Anaheim. Very tired. This morning I booked our Airfare for our Oct 2011 WDW and Cruise extravaganza. With my FF miles I was able to score all of our tickets for about $228 pp r/t I wish it were cheaper but it's still not bad.

:thumbsup2

Last week I booked our airfare for our June 2011 Med cruise (Barcelona), glad i did because i checked couple of days ago, and the fare already went up to about $100 per person :scared1:. I wasn't aware that FF miles can be booked about 11 months out, so by the time i checked there were no available seat using FF miles.

Yeah! :cool1: Glad you found your airfare! I hadn't had any luck so I am glad you found what you needed!

Did anyone see this on the main board?

FYI:

Below is a copy of the email I received from DCL concerning this question. Also I believe even in FL that all aboard was at 4 as well due to the safety drill happening at 4.

Disney Cruise Line representatives and porters will be at the
World Cruise Center Terminal at the Port of Los Angeles to meet and
greet Guests and assist with their luggage. Check-in time is from
10:00am to 4:00pm. Guests pass through security check point with x-ray
as they enter the building.

*Guests are greeted by a Disney Cruise Line representative and directed
to the appropriate check-in queue.
Please note: If the entire party has not arrived at the terminal, minors
can check in with an adult listed on one of the travel-with bookings as
long as the minor has proof of citizenship. (For example, child is
staying in aunt and uncle's stateroom and is at the port. Mom and dad
are also cruising, but have not arrived yet.)
*Embarkation begins at approximately 1:00pm
*Guests will board the ship on Deck 3
*While guests are waiting to embark the ship, they can take advantage of
character photo opportunities, booking port adventures and pre-register
children into Youth Activities.
*Guests pass through security check point with x-ray prior to boarding
*All Guests must board the ship no later than 3:00pm.

Once on the ship, Parrot Cay will be offering a fabulous buffet until
approximately 2:30pm. The Beach Blanket Buffet will also be offering a
buffet until approximately 3:30pm.

All Guests must be onboard for the mandatory lifeboat drill at 4:00pm
followed by the lively sailaway party. Be sure to listen for the ship's
unique horn announcing the beginning of your cruise!

I booked the Crowne Royal the night before. My DH has to be in court Friday am.....so look for us two at the port ....very early :) I promised him we would eat at that fisherman's place along the port.

Two months, 5 days. It's exercise time.... this is too funny.... I went on youtube today and played the cha cha slide to get my DD12 in the mood and I swear...I was out of breath at the end... :scared1: She was so embarrassed.

What thread was that originally posted in?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Here's the link if anyone else is interested. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2594438

I'll be there crazy early. I'm a freak about making sure I have plenty of time. It is good to know what time embarkation starts.

Nobody here wants to go early, in fact the oldest was hoping to go to school first! :confused3 I'm just going to tell them we're going after breakfast! We live close and I don't see traffic being ugly, so hoping for a relaxing morning that day.

We'll probably be there before 11am...... since i'll be traveling with relatives and friends (most of them are first timers) i don't want them to wait for 2 hrs before we get onboard because i know they will tease me or give me a hard time on why i let them wait that long.
Though i know my nieces will be very excited and won't mind the waiting...
