Heading out tomorrow to spend the weekend at DL and attend Friday's Halloween party. I will be there when the booking window opens for our cruise. If I am not interested in booking Palo, will I be missing anything if I do not worry about checking for reservations until I return? I am contemplating a spa, but leaning towards skipping it this time. What do you all think?

Hi fellow cruisers!
I'm a bit behind following the thread. I don't think I ever gave my kids ages. DD is 12 and DS is 17.

I know I read somewhere what time we can board the Wonder and what time we have to be off....but I don't remember where it was. I'm sure one of you cruise professionals can tell me

Well..we can board on January 6th..but we have to get off on the 23rd....

They usually let on about noon and you should be exiting about 8:30-9:00

This is such a short trip for us that we're not going to be packing much. I think we're going to just roll our bags off with us. Still means we have to pack, tho...

Yep, we'll probably be using one duffle and thats it. Easy easy!

I'll be fairly torqued if that's true. I'm guessing that it's an error. I believe that the Disney website marked Saturday as "At Sea"

Today's the day for Palo ressies! Woo hoo.

For all of you staying at Disneyland, and especially the person who said they'd wake up at 4 AM. I live in Long Beach, the mouse house is about 30 minutes away. Leave at 9 when the traffic starts to die down and you'll still be at the port way before 10. Leaving any earlier means you'll just be in commute traffic.

I haven't been to the place mentioned on DDD, but I will have to make a trip.

For an inexpensive meal, Acapulcos is right on the water with plenty of outside heated seating and you can watch the ships. (And they have a decent Happy Hour)

Lastly, while looking for things to do near the port on Friday or Sunday, ride the Red Car!. It's only a buck, fun and has a stop right at the cruise terminal.

Well... if it makes you happier I could misrepresent the posting tallies and either bump you up or down. All ya' have ta' do is flash over something into mah Paypal account and - WHAM - you can be #1 in the posting count - or not!? I do accept Mickey Bars in substitution of tangible funds too!

So - I am about to run out - that new car battery I got a month or two ago looks to be BAD. I thought I might have a bad alternator - as the thing kept failing - and now that I've got an AC trickle charger - I can see the battery is not holding a charge! SO it sure LOOKS like a bad battery to me. And if so - good thing since an alternator will cost me $400 or more!?

Aside from that - after I handle the battery thing - I was thinking of catching a good movie matinee. The timing is about right...

Yeah, the website has always had us 'at sea' that day. I don't know what made me look at the pier schedule yesterday but when I did.... I posted it thinking maybe I was just having an extra blonde moment! I'm guessing it's just like someone said, to reserve our parking space.

Hey Lapdwife! We used to live in Huntington Beach about 20 years ago! Hoz it goin'! My spouse misses the proximity to the Beach we used to have out there!

I think the last time we were out there was last year! I think we were looking for the Macys' off GoldenWest as we were on our way home from something further south? Oh yeah... now I vaguely recall - we stopped at the Lawry's Carvery and South Coast - and she had left complaining that Macy's did not have this dress in her size - but the Golden West Macys' had two - as my spouse is a size zero petite (or a size 2P depending upon the designer/cut of the item). So we were on a "mission" to stop there on our way north...
